Wefrnd Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the Wefrnd platform (the “Platform”), which includes our mobile app, website, services, features, and content. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Who We Are
The Platform is operated by **Nova Unicorn Pvt Ltd** (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Eligibility
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction (e.g. at least 18 years old, or as required by local laws) to use the Platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (OTP-based login) and for all activity under your account.
3. Use of the Platform
The Platform enables avatar-based interactions, audio calls, video calls, and social discovery services. No photos, videos, posts, comments, likes, or other personal content can be uploaded by users. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and not to violate any local, state, national, or international laws. KYC verification may be mandatory for certain users or specific services to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. User Content & Data
The Platform does not collect or host user-generated content like photos, videos, bios, posts, or comments. Only limited data necessary for login (OTP), avatar setup, and call connections is collected. You are prohibited from attempting to upload or share unauthorized content through the Platform.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, harassing, abusive, or fraudulent activities.
- Violate intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or use of bots/automated tools.
- Spam, solicit, or use the Platform for unapproved commercial purposes.
- Harm or attempt to exploit minors in any way.
6. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you: Breach these Terms, Pose legal or security risks, or Misuse the Platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ends immediately.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All trademarks, logos, and platform materials (except your avatar design) belong to Nova Unicorn Pvt Ltd. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
8. Payments / Purchases (if applicable)
Paid features or in-app purchases may be offered. All payments are non-refundable unless required by law. Pricing may change and will apply prospectively.
9. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nova Unicorn Pvt Ltd and its affiliates from claims, damages, or losses arising out of your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
11. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be reflected in the “Effective Date” or communicated via the Platform. Continued use means acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [City, State, India]. You agree to attempt informal resolution before pursuing legal remedies.
13. Miscellaneous
Severability: If any clause is invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce rights does not waive them.
Entire Agreement: These Terms plus our Privacy Policy form the complete agreement.
14. Grievance Redressal
In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (India):
- The Company has appointed a Grievance Officer.
- Contact details of the Grievance Officer will be published on the Platform and Privacy Policy.
The Grievance Officer will:
- Acknowledge complaints within 72 hours.
- Resolve complaints within 30 days from receipt.
